Astonishing Leaked Bayern Munich's FIFA 17 ratings

While the Premier League continues to bill itself as the best league in the world, it's clear that the best teams in the world play elsewhere.

European football has been dominated by Spanish clubs over the last few years, with La Liga providing five of the last six finalists in the Champions League as well as boasting five of the previous seven Europa League winners (including current three-peat champions Sevildla).

There has been one exception to this Spanish dominance, that is Bayern Munich.

Over the past few seasons, the German giants have re-established themselves as one of the biggest teams in the international club scene.

Bayern have regained their domestic dominance and have carried that form into Europe, having made the semi-finals for five straight years after finishing fourth in the Bundesliga in the 2006/07 season, which their worst standing in over a decade.

Boasting the core of the world champion German national team in their ranks alongside some expertly-select foreign players, Bayern Munich are essentially the über-übermensch, and it shows in their team's supposed rankings for the upcoming instalment of FIFA.

But if these rankings are true, Bayern look like the team to beat this season. Let's take a glance at the 'leaked' rating.

Bayern Munich leaked ratings

With Manuel Neuer top-scoring with a 94 ranking, you'll be well pushed to score past a Bayern defence whose weak links (Mats Hummels and David Alaba) still claim an 87 overall score - while Jerome Boateng's 90 rating is sure to make him the best defender in the game.

Up top, Robert Lewandowski is the third player to score a rating in the 90s, while Thomas Müller has to settle for 85.

If there's a weakness in the Bayern squad, it's in midfield where three players (Douglas Costa, Xabi Alonso and Thiago Alcantara) are rated at a lowly 84, while Frank Ribery still manages an 87 rating despite the fact you forgot he was still playing. That said, Arturo Vidal isn't a bad option off the bench with an overall score of 87.
