FIFA 17 Closed Beta Now Available to Download

The FIFA 17 closed beta is now available for a select few FIFA fans to download. The beta launched just today, and will be available for any fans in the United Kingdom and North America that have received an email and a beta code. The beta is exclusively for Xbox One and Playstation 4.

A lot of people on Reddit have said they have received closed beta codes for FIFA 17 already. Bear in mind, you may have to check your Spam folder to find a code. For some people, their invite was not sent to their normal email inbox.

If you were lucky enough to receive a code, you should have gotten an email from EA Sports that has a yellow background. It should say: "Congratulations on successfully registering for the FIFA 17 Closed Beta. Thank you for taking the time to help make this the best FIFA yet!"

There's also a small warning for those taking part in the beta. It says: Live streaming and image capturing of Closed Beta gameplay or forums is prohibited. It's also worth mentioning the code is tied to your own account so you cannot sell or trade it to anyone else.

The closed beta codes are being released in batches so be patient. The closed beta runs from August 18th up until August 28th. Don't worry if you haven't received a code because not everyone is invited to play it.

If you're wanting to play the beta but can't yet, hopefully EA Sports will put out an open beta so that EA Insider subscribers and other fans of FIFA can join in the fun. After all, EA's doing it with Battlefield 1, so FIFA 17 shouldn't be any more difficult.

But, until that's announced, if it ever is, the rest of us will just have to wait until September 27 (in North America) and September 29 (worldwide).
