FIFA 17: 14 Man Utd Player Ratings Leaked

Emerging online, the profiles and player scores of the Man United first team have been posted on the internet. A host of players have enjoyed a quantum leap, rewarded for their excellent form through last season, while others have been punished for contributing to what was quite frankly one of the most boring and depressing seasons in living memory from a Manchester United point of view.

So if you can't wait until the release date for the next instalment of FIFA-crazed action, then take a peek at some of the Red Devils'ratings here.

Here we take a look at 14 Man Utd player ratings predictions in FIFA 17 and reviews of ratings in FIFA 16.

14. David De Gea: 87

FIFA 16 rating: 86

Just a slight upwards curve in David de Gea's progression over the last year, after another remarkably consistent season for Man United.

Having begun the season exiled from the first-team and seemingly set for Real Madrid, the Spaniard battled back to reclaim his spot between the posts and demonstrate just why he has forced Iker Casillas into international retirement.

13. Chris Smalling: 83

FIFA 16 rating: 79

Chris Smalling has been rewarded for a fine season with a leap forward in the ratings.

The 26 year old finally came of age last year as he shone at the heart of the Man United defence, excelling alongside Daley Blind as Louis van Gaal's side conceded just 35 goals. If he continues his current trajectory, expect him to be one of the finest defenders in the game before too long.

12. Antonio Valencia: 75

FIFA 16 rating: 79

Despite impressing in pre-season, usurping Matteo Darmian as the first-choice right-back, Antonio Valencia has suffered quite a dip in the ratings.

Injured for much of last season, the Ecuadorian only managed 14 games for the Red Devils. With his injury woes behind him, the 30-year-old will look to see off competition from Darmian and Phil Jones and consolidate a place in the starting XI.

11. Daley Blind: 79

FIFA 16 rating: 80

Daley Blind appears to be the Dutch John O'Shea these days - able to play a host of positions without ever being trusted to make one his own in the long run.

Performing adequately alongside Smalling at the heart of the defence last season, Blind coped well but was often caught for pace. A slight drop from 80 down to 79 shouldn't hurt his FIFA profile too much.

10. Cameron Borthwick-Jackson: 67

FIFA 16 Rating: 62

A quantum leap for the footballer with the poshest name in the league, having broke into the team last year due to a shortage of left-backs.

The youngster excelled when given the opportunity, with his delivery likened to that of David Beckham. Jose Mourinho has reportedly told him that he can leave on a loan deal in search of first-team football, but watch this space.

9. Juan Mata: 83

FIFA 16 rating: 84

After another solid season, producing ten goals in 54 appearances, Juan Mata maintains a healthy FIFA rating although he slips slightly.

It was tough for the creative Spaniard to flourish in van Gaal's stifling unit last season, and he will do well to find rhythm under Mourinho - the man who banished him to bench warming duty the last time they worked together.

8. Ander Herrera: 81

FIFA 16 rating: 81

No change in the FIFA rating for Ander Herrera after a solid, if unspectacular, season.

Having been acquired after a protracted saga, Man United supporters are still awaiting the Spaniard to burst into life and repay their faith in him. However, he hasn't been a flop by any means, although this may be a make-or-break season for him at Old Trafford.

7. Michael Carrick: 80

FIFA 16 rating: 80

Michael Carrick signed for Manchester United ten years ago this summer and as such is the club's current longest-serving player.

The Geordie probably never thought he would stay this long, especially considering the sceptics and criticism when he was given the hallowed no.16 upon his arrival. Having signed a new contract, his rating remains unaltered.

6. Ashley Young: 79

FIFA 16 rating: 80

Ashley Young enjoyed something of a renaissance under Louis van Gaal during the 14/15 season, proving everybody wrong to hit back at critics and keep absolutely bags of talent in Angel di Maria out of the starting line-up.

There were no such heroics last time out, with the former Villa wide-man featuring 18 times and scoring just the once. He still remains a useful squad option.

5. Jesse Lingard: 69

FIFA 16 rating: 74

This time last year, Jesse Lingard was coming off the back of a loan deal at Steve McClaren's Derby County.

Nobody could have predicted that by the end of the campaign, he would have 40 appearances for the Red Devils'first-team under his belt and would have bagged an FA Cup final winner. He has been duly rewarded for his brilliant year with an elevation into the mid-70's.

Onwards and upwards, Jesse.

4. Memphis Depay: 79

FIFA 16 rating: 81

Having arrived with bags of promise in his boots last year, the Eredivisie top scorer subsequently failed to light up the Premier League and is now in danger of becoming another Dutch flop.

Having registered just the two league goals - a far cry from the 22 he bagged the previous season - he has been demoted into the 70's. He will hope last season was just a blip.

3. Anthony Martial: 78

FIFA 16 rating: 77

Arriving with a huge price tag weighing upon his shoulders, much was expected of Anthony Martial last season. It would have been easy for the Frenchman to wilt under such an extortionate fee.

Instead, he embraced it - beginning with a debut goal against Liverpool. The 20-year-old would go on to score 17 goals in his debut season, and it's a credit to his maturity that he is regarded as one of the more senior players.

2. Wayne Rooney: 85

FIFA 16 rating: 86

The former poster boy of the FIFA game, Wayne Rooney's decline in real life is slowly being reflected in the virtual world where he has been demoted to his lowest ever ranking of '85'.

With the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Rooney's place is under threat - don't be surprised to see him drop even further next year.

1. Marcus Rashford: 73

FIFA 16 rating: 59

No surprises for guessing who made the biggest leap from last season. This time last year barely anybody had heard of the kid aiming to break into the Man United U-18 side.

Nine months later, and with eight senior goals for the club (including a derby winner at the Etihad), a goal on his international debut and a place in the England squad for the Euros, he was the most talked-about British teenager since Theo Walcott.
